ow do i use ph plus on my tank do i take my fish out?
MY FISH WHERE dieing i done ph test and it was 7.9 am awaiting ph plus and need to know if i take my fish out please help i had tank years ago and things have changed ive never lost fish till know
Ph of 7.9 should not be killing your fish. Suddenly dropping the pH to 7 with chemicals probably will though.
I suggest you get the water tested fully, it's possible that the nitrate levels have built up over time and thats now affecting your fish.
More water changes and leaving the pH alone may be a better option. Also check the pH of your tap water. If it's lower than your tank then look for any limestone, coral or shells in the tank. Those can cause the pH to rise over time.
